Recent testing has found Maple Syrup to contain 20 compounds linked to human health including those that were already known such as zinc, thiamine and calcium.  Some of these new compounds are known to have anti-oxident properties.

Everyone has always known that Minnestalgia Maple Syrup is excellant as a sweetener for coffee and tea, a glaze on meats, toppings for cereals and desserts, a flavoring in cooked vegetables and squash and the perfect compliment in cooked wild rice for breakfast!  And as always a favorite on pancakes, waffles, Ice Cream and Yogurt. 

And that Minnestalgia Maple Sugar is a healthy alternative to white sugar and can also be used in place of brown sugar.  Use to sweeten hot cereals, tea or coffee.  Mix 1 stick of butter and 1/4 cup of Maple Sugar in a blender until smooth and use as a spread for crackers, bagels, baguettes or toast add cinnamon to this mixture and use it to make cinnamon rolls.
