Do to the flooding in our region, the cultivated and lake wild rice harvest has been severely impacted. Although wild rice grows in the water, once the stalks produce leaves the part that has leaves stands up free and clear of the water and is not meant to be submerged again. During the flood on many local lakes, the entire wild rice stalk was underwater for 2-3 weeks which killed the plant. We have a limited supply of the Lake Wild Rice and you will notice a price increase for this year's crop, we hope that will go back down with next year's harvest. We also suffered losses for the Lingonberry, Elderberry and Highbush Cranberry crops. We hope to have them available with the 2013 harvest.

New for this year is our Minnesota Cultivated Wild Rice Flour and Minnesota Cultivated Wild Rice Polenta (coarse ground wild rice). Receive free recipes when ordering these 2 items.
Many of our products will bring back memories of your childhood whether you were helping to pick the fruit for Mom or Grandmother to make Chokecherry Jelly or you were lucky enough to just be able to enjoy it on home baked bread. We also feature Minnesota's own native gourmet grain, Minnesota Lake Wild Rice and the more affordable Minnesota Cultivated Wild Rice and new this year is our Minnesota Cultivated Wild Rice Flour and Minnesota Cultivated Wild Rice Polenta milled on our own stone mill.

Directions: State Hwys 210 & 65 meet in McGregor. At the only stoplight in McGregor go North on Hwy 65 about 1/2 mile. Our Food & Wine Shops are on the East or right hand side of 65 in the industrial park. Our building is a large cedar sided building with a big Winery sign on the side.
